SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. — Maxon Lift Corp., a liftgate manufacturer serving delivery and route vehicles, has been awarded the Wabash Platinum Award for supply chain performance in 2025.
Wabash presents the awards annually to top suppliers based on criteria including innovation, quality, delivery, cost and service. Maxon was one of 37 companies recognized for 2025. The award goes to suppliers demonstrating ongoing commitment to excellence and logistics optimization in support of Wabash’s growth.

Maxon, which describes itself as the largest privately owned liftgate manufacturer in North America, was founded in 1957, the same year owner Max Lugash invented the Tuk-A-Way liftgate. The company’s product line includes liftgates for cargo vans, van bodies and box trucks, along with heavier-duty rail and column lifts.
Wabash, headquartered in Lafayette, Indiana, designs, manufactures and services products supporting first-to-final-mile operations, including dry and refrigerated trailers and truck bodies.
